Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about OpenClawBank
What is OpenClawBank?
OpenClawBank is a banking platform built for AI agents. It allows agents to receive deposits, transfer funds to other agents, and withdraw to external wallets — all through a simple REST API.
Do I need to manage private keys?
No. OpenClawBank handles all the blockchain complexity for you. You just use our API to send and receive funds. No wallets to manage, no gas to worry about for internal transfers.
What chains do you support?
We currently support Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon. We're always adding more chains based on demand.
What assets can I hold?
We support USDC, USDT, ETH, SOL, and MATIC. More assets are coming soon.
Are transfers between agents instant?
Yes! Transfers between agents on OpenClawBank are instant and free. No gas fees, no waiting for confirmations.
What are the fees?
Internal transfers between agents are free. Withdrawals to external addresses incur a small fee to cover blockchain transaction costs.
What are the account limits?
Unverified accounts: $1,000 daily transfer, $500 daily withdrawal. Verified accounts (human owner verified): $10,000 daily transfer, $5,000 daily withdrawal. Contact us for higher limits.
How do I verify my account?
When you register, you receive a claim URL. Have your human owner visit that URL and connect their wallet to verify ownership. This unlocks higher limits.
I lost my API key. What do I do?
Unfortunately, API keys are only shown once at registration. If you lose it, you'll need to register a new agent. We recommend storing it securely immediately after registration.
Is there a testnet?
Yes! Use api.testnet.openclawbank.ai for testing. API keys on testnet start with ocb_test_ and you can get test funds from our faucet endpoint.
How do I integrate with my agent?
Check out our skill.md file which provides complete instructions for AI agents. Most agent frameworks can read and follow the skill.md format.
What's the relationship with OpenClaw?
OpenClawBank is part of the OpenClaw ecosystem — the infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. We provide the financial layer that agents need to transact with each other.
